I am a librarian contractor who works for the Office of American Spaces at the U.S. Department of State on behalf of Cherokee Nation Businesses. You can read about what all I do on the job on my LinkedIn page.
I graduated from the University of Maryland’s iSchool in 2008 with a Master’s degree in Library Science. My master’s thesis is “Advanced Content In State E-Government: Criteria for Evaluation.”
I used to be a cataloger, but I stopped as the transition from AACR2 to RDA happened, so I’m wicked rusty.
My favorite hobby is writing. When I am not on the job, I write about library science, productivity, and work-life balance. My wife and I write Eurovision Lemurs, which covers the Eurovision Song Contest.
If you ever want to talk shop, I’m always available for a cup of coffee.
